When we think of yellow, we don’t always think of fall. We tend to think of spring and summer. Yet, yellow is there for fall! Yellow becomes more of an accent color during the fall season since red, brown, and orange are stronger and more demanding colors. But we just can’t do without it! So what about taking yellow into the spotlight for fall designs?
It was kind of tough finding designs that have yellow as the main color that was a fall design. But we did find some great designs!

What we love:
- the use of negative and positive space in the bouquets
- the middle centerpiece that also pulled in pears and lemons for the variation on yellow hues
- the feathers in the bottom center design
- the gorgeous boutonniere in the middle left that used yellow freesia - it must smell amazing
- the use of ranunculus in all the designs – it has great texture, is so whimsical, and is in season right now
Some flowers that you can find for fall yellows – almost unlimited
- ranunculus
- yellow or mango calla lilies
- freesia (a great filler flower)
- cymbidium orchids
- craspedia – remember these from here?
- carnations – pixie and regular
- dahlias
- limonium – a great greenery spray (kind of like baby’s breath)
- Chrysanthemums – poms, buttons, spider
- roses – unlimited hues
